Physical Description		Average Height and Weight for a Kriosian. Not a beauty on her world, Seomi was nevertheless happy with her appearance. She could blend into a crowd, never liking the spotlight herself. Her hair is slightly curly and long. She usually keeps it pinned up on the back of her head or in a ponytail when on duty. In her quarters or on her days off it is often loose.

General Overview		Seomi is generally friendly though she can be a bit shy around people she doesn’t know. She usually has no issues being warm towards patients but also maintains a professional demeanor. Earning other’s trust is important to her and she will go out of her way to accomplish it. Generally talkative her brain reacts quickly and she’s been known to ramble on about an issue or to change subjects quickly. Seomi has had a series of relationships but always ends up being hurt. She falls in love easily and finds it much harder to let go of someone. She has a strong set of morals and often expects the best from people and is disappointed when they don’t come through or don’t try their hardest.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Great ability to think on her feet. Independent, doesn’t require the company of others. Good communicator. Weaknesses: Loses confidence in herself easily when a mistake is made,. Beats herself up about mistake for a long time afterward. Can be a bit of a dreamer while working.
Ambitions		Semoi has always just wanted to help people. She has no other ambitions than to be where she is needed.

Personal History		Born on Krios Prime in 2359, Seomi didn’t have much of a childhood. She was painfully shy and her parents pushed her to live in their world of politics and social events. A quiet child she hated the late parties and being forced to converse but admits it did give her a lot of practice at small talk. When not at political social events Seomi was found playing by herself, having few friends her own age. She was almost always seen in the company of the family pet Ognib, who was purchased at the suggestion of a counselor her parents took her to for her shyness. It was during these quiet moments that she began to come out of her shell and learned to appreciate a good conversation, even if it was with a pet. Upon reaching the age of maturity Seomi almost decided to become a veterinarian or a xenobiologist but wanted to get off planet and see the universe so she enrolled in Starfleet Academy in 2379. She adapted well to the classes from having a strict schedule of study at home. Seomi also made a few close friends but was not by any means popular. In 2380 she fell in love with Matt Ziegler, a fellow cadet. It was a whole year before she gained the courage to ask him how he felt about her. He explained that he’d met someone months ago and had begun a relationship with the other woman thinking that he and Seomi were just friends. Heartbroken she locked herself in her room, only attending classes and ignoring any of Matt’s attempts to apologize. Nearly two years later she again fell for a man (Skylar Stevens) who did not return her feelings and once again she became melancholy and withdrawn though still kept up with her studies. Seomi swore off relationships and has been very careful not to let herself fall again for fear that she will only be hurt. Upon graduating Starfleet Academy Semoi was accepted in Starfleet Medical where she studied for two years before graduating with a medical degree. Though her hard work and dedication has paid off career wise, she often finds herself in a self inflicted lonely state. Seomi has a pen pal. They write out letters to each other and send them through subspace. Once a year she receives a handwritten letter from him on actual paper on her birthday.
